EE 220: Circuit Analysis I

Prerequisites:  Calculus I and Physics I

This course covers fundamental principles of electrical circuit analysis and is a prerequisite for entry into the junior-level Electrical Engineering (EE) and Computer Engineering (CpE) curricula. This course is taught every semester, including summers, and is typically taken by EE and CpE students in the second semester of the sophomore year. As a transfer student, the important thing for you to note is that it must be taken before the courses in the fall of the curriculum’s third year.  If you transfer in the fall and need EE 220, it will take three years to graduate, so it’s best plan to take it in the spring or summer semesters.

Other pre-requisite courses for the junior year that can be taken at most community colleges are Calculus-based Physics I, Calculus-based Physics II, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations.
