Mitchell College of Business

A new era of the Mitchell College of Business real estate program began this fall with the academic transition from a concentration to a major and the addition of program director and professor Grayson Glaze, JD, CRE, CCIM, CPM. One of the driving forces behind this growth has been the Founders Circle, a group of forward-thinking companies that are investing in the next generation of real estate talent.

Accounting Students in the Mitchell College of Business will be preparing 2025 Federal and State Income Tax Returns (at no cost) beginning February 2, 2026. This is a free service performed by upper division accounting students fulfilling their internship requirement towards their bachelor's degree. This service is provided by appointment only. Please note your affiliation with the University of South Alabama at the time of scheduling (e.g., Faculty, Staff, Student, No affiliation, etc.).

Dr. Mickey Smith, Associate Professor of Management for the Mitchell College of Business has been awarded the Sam and Bonnie Rechter Research Grant, by the University of Louisville's Center for Positive Leadership.
