Why Study Information Systems at USA?
The School of Computing is a designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense and a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Research (CAE-R). According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) employment in computer and information technology occupations is projected to add more than 377,500 openings each year, much faster than the average for all occupations. These occupations are projected to add about 531,200 new jobs. The School of Computing has many departmental scholarship opportunities to offer our students. All of our scholarships may be added on top of any general University scholarships. The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET.
