Mary Bower: Fine Art Basketry

The fine art basketry of Mary Bower will be on display in cases on the third floor of the University's art gallery from January 5 through February 25, 2009 during regular library hours. Her beautiful and sometimes elaborate creations utilize fiber, robe and pine needle. Mary is a former employee of the University Library and now lives on a houseboat in Florida. Her works have most recently been on display at the Northeast Branch of the Leon County Public Library in Tallahassee. Her works will be for sale.
