Getting Started with Training Checklist
Following federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies, all investigators and research personnel must complete the appropriate training courses before animal work can begin. The Investigator is responsible for appropriately training all individuals listed on their IACUC protocol. IACUC protocols and administrative approvals will be granted once all required training is completed. An average score of 80% is needed to pass all CITI courses.
Below, are the specific training modules with links needed for working with animals and/or with Biohazards. Training that is more specialized could be required before working in a laboratory. Please refer to the Research Education and Learning Matrix for additional training information.
Pre-Training
IRBNet Profile- Please visit irbnet.org to set up a user profile. The User profile in IRBNet allows one to link their CITI training certificates and link training to a specific protocol. You cannot skip this step.
