FAQs

▼   Can I use my insurance plan at the USA Psychology Clinic?
The USA Psychology Clinic does not bill insurance for services provided by trainees (clinician in training). We offer affordable evaluation and therapy services on a sliding scale and reduced fees may be negotiated in unique situations. Payment is required at the time of services. Many of the supervising faculty do see clients on a fee-for-service basis and may take insurance for their services (See Supervising Psychologists for these options)
▼   Do I need an appointment to be seen? How do I make an appointment?
The USA Psychological Clinic does not offer walk-in or crisis services. New clients are accepted based on presenting issues and student clinician training needs at any particular time. To apply for services and be added to our potential client pool, please APPLY HERE.
▼   How soon can I see a therapist?
After your application is processed and accepted, you will be placed into a waiting pool until an appropriate clinician and supervisor is available. When you apply does not influence how long you will wait for services. Waiting times fluctuate based on the number of applications we receive, the number of clinicians accepting clients, our current supervisors’ expertise, and the type or service you are requesting.
