Wintzell's Oyster House has agreed to extend a 10% discount on the total price of your meal, excluding alcohol. The discount is not applied to the tax, alcohol, or gratuities. There is no limit to the number of people included, if the bill is paid by a University employee. 

The following applied:Announce to the server that you are a permanent employee at the University of South Alabama, which includes hospitals and clinics.

  • Show your ID or your hospital ID card.
  • Banquet dining is not included.
  • Gratuities should be included before the discount is applied.

For those of you that will be entertaining and expect to be reimbursed, please remember to follow the University of South Alabama policies and procedures for entertainment expenditures. 

The 10% discount does not include catering. Catering is excluded from the agreement with Wintzell's Oyster House. ARAMARK (the food provider on campus) has an exclusive agreement and departments can only use another caterer if ARAMARK is given the first right of refusal on campus.
