Frequently Asked Questions

  • Undergraduate/Graduate traditional students pay for their initial Jag Card as part of their entering fees.
  • Online students do not pay for their initial Jag Card as a part of their entering fees.
  • Replacing a lost or stolen Jag Card costs $20 for the first reprint with an additional $5 adding for each additional reprint.

If your Jag Card is lost or stolen, you will want to check with the Jag Card office and/or the Police Department to see if it was turned in. If it is lost and cannot be found, once you have a new card printed, it will deactivate your old card. 

You may also contact the Jag Card office to have it deactivated at (251) 460-6077. If you should find your card at a later date, please note that only your newest card will be the only active.

In the case of any replacement Jag Card, the card is modified and the new card will deactivate your old card. Most services, such as JagEats, Dining Dollars, or meal plans with Bonus Bucks are managed in the Jag Card system, and will continue to work without interruption. However, door access to some residence halls may be affected. It may take up to 24 hours for your new Jag Card to work on your residence hall, if applicable. If your card does not work on your residence hall after 24 hours please visit your Community Office for a temporary access card. 
You can add Dining Dollars though the Dining Services.

  • Attend USA sporting events
  • Access to Recreation Center
  • Check out materials at the University Library
  • Access to some residence halls or academic buildings
  • Purchase discounted tickets through Jaguar Productions

Monday through Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm.  University closures, orientations, and holidays may impact business hours.
