Photography Program

USA's Photography Program gives students the tools needed to develop or enhance their foundational photography skills and then to move into the broader area of their creative interests. The program provides robust and interactive classes that foster well-rounded photographers that take great photos.
Take a couple of classes or pursue a certificate. The choice is yours!
Everyone starts with Fundamentals of Photography to understand the functions of their DSL cameras. Then, take any of the courses offered.

For those interested in the certificate program:
Certificate Program Requirements:
Students who choose to pursue the Photography Certificate will take all of the "core"
courses.
*Core courses are $265 / $240 early bird
- Fundamentals of Photography (The requisite course for the rest of the program)
- Going Beyond the Basics
- Image Management: Lightroom and Other Tools (via Zoom)
- Image Editing: Photoshop (via Zoom)
- Great Photos: Composition, Vision, and Style
And complete two (2) of the following elective courses:
*Electives are $215 / $195 early bird
- Candid Street Photography
- Nature Photography
- Shooting in the Dark
- Portraits on Location
- Studio Lighting and Portrait Photography
The program may be completed within 12 - 18 months. All courses must be completed within three (3) years of the first course taken.

Vincent Lawson teaches a number of courses including an Fundamentals of Photography, Beyond the Basics, Candid Street Shots, and others! As a professional photographer, Vincent is a cornerstone instructor for the program.
Lance Boggan is a local photographer who teaches image management and editing courses such as Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom. He also teaches Portraits on Location, among others.
