Camtasia

Video content demands an even greater standard for retaining attention than standard, in-person lecturing. Camtasia allows users to edit content to break up content into chunks, eliminate “dead time” between important content, include some video and graphic effects, and reinforce learning with quizzes. The software is similar to Panopto, but allows for more detailed editing and greater options for video production.

Camtasia produces video content that can be embedded directly into a Canvas course. Videos may be shared through other software as MP4 files or in the Camtasia video player.
